FT-1 Supra vs GT-R Concept: Interiors

Last week i posted a visual comparison of the FT-1 Interior vs the new NSX concept's interior. Today I thought I would do the same only looking at the GTR concept that was the opening salvo to R35 development..

interesting comparison, seems like they both have a lot of similarities, the sloping dash lines coming down to the center console, dash setup, etc.

It will be very hard to get a road head in the GTR though.

GTR interior was boring as a concept and boring as production

Nissan doesn't know how to make interiors sorry.

Unfortunately it is. But I think the overall production design is okay. With the use of better colors and materials like suede, leather, etc, they can save it.

the GTR was never meant to have a nice interior

you buy it for the engine and the AWD system

Kind of like a STI or EVO.

well whats the definition of Nice. Nice as in nice materials and touch points, or nice as in functional layout.

Agreed that the GTR is not about having a nice interior, but neither was the MKIV supra.

The GTR looks like any generic Nissan inside except for the GTR that punched you in the face on the steering wheel...

the MKIV is not a 2013/14 vehicle

The GTR is.

For a 100+k car the GTR has a pretty lame interior

But it works..

Lame indeed. Looks like something you'd expect to see in a sub $40k Nissan. I think they should have aimed to keep the interior more Infiniti influenced, those interiors are nice.

yea and so what? I didnt compare GTR to Supra I used Supra as an analogy, era to era...

What does one expect from a $100K interior.... Would you rather more interior and less performance or what? I mean battles need to be picked.
