I can't wait until this thing is out.

Although i do have an R6, this will always be my baby.

Sweet MKIV!

How long have you had it for and is it a manual?

Never get tired of seeing clean MKIV's

Hi! and thank you.

It's an automatic. During the purchase, i had a 2 hour commute in traffic to work and didn't want to deal with having to shift in traffic.

good reason for going automatic
manuals have their time and place
back when I had my first manuals i drove them all throughout the year, dealing with rush hour was just brutal.

2 hours is brutal.
Might as well have something fun and practical for those commutes.
I bet it's too long of a commute for you to want to ride through.

Do you go to any supra meets in Cali?

Yes, i moved eventually and purchased the R6 to ride instead. It's still a hour long ride, but at least it's fun.

We used to. I recognize a couple of usernames here as there used to be in the supraforums, but can't say for sure if it's the same. But those forums weren't active the last time i tried to visit.

Speaking of socal tho, i just sold my house a couple of days ago... it's in escrow now. But moving from socal to Alabama soon. Getting married, yada yada, starting a new life. :O

The R6's a 2013. Bought it brand new last year. Runs great.
And ya, cali in general's just too hectic man. Cost of living is skyrocketing with no way to invest in real estate.
I'll tell you something though, it's MUCH easier to go from cali to another state than the other way around.
I can almost buy another house in AL outright with acres of land with the profit i'll be making from this place.

Oregon was my top pick, Georgia was second, and AL was third only because i didn't want to deal with in-laws. -_-
Now i have to deal with in-laws AND the bible belt.

Better enjoy bike life before you have kids! Unless you're already at that stage.

Nah, no kids.... yet.... in fact... just got married 3 days ago.
Made it to Bama. It was a long drive.... took us 3 days to travel with dogs. The supe picked up a lotta mileage.
I'll tell you what though, this car has gotten tons of looks here.
I've been waved at, yelled at, winked at, and followed home. -_-
Already had a 3 hour conversation about this car in the 1 week i've been here, with 4 different people.
They have NEVER seen the supra here.

We're still shopping for a house. We put an offer in today, hopefully they'll accept so we can move forward.
The wife got a job right away... red lobster.... as a waitress... woot...
i'm still waiting. Applied for a single job so that i really really want. If that one falls through, then i'll be applying for multiples.

Anyways, so far so good though, the people here are great. The southern hospitality - unmatched. By far, the best i've encountered.
