$70,000 for an MKIII Supra... what are they smoking

How many of you have seen that MKIII with zero mileage going for the higher 5-figure range? If you haven't here's an article talking about all the key points you need to know but it all comes down to $70,000, zero miles.

How likely are they to even get $70,000?

It actually has 100 miles. Pretty amazing. If there is a collector out there that loves these cars ... then maybe it is worth that figure. Mileage would need to be confirmed. With only 100 miles .... the drive train, brakes, etc are probably in bad shape from non-use.

Current: 2016 A7

It is amazing ... but I don't think it's $70k amazing. I'd be very worried about what's seized up completely and what will have to be replaced/rebuilt

I have been long awaiting this..

Not worth $70k, though cool to think its still in original conditions (if it hasn't all seized up)

We all can agree on it being valued high for the condition it's in but when you compare paying $70,000 for this to what else you can get, it doesn't seem that great after all. Just imagine the sort of MKIV Supra you can get for maybe $50,000. Unlike the MKIII that MKIV will give you a great return far down the road, it's a true classic. MKIII's aren't held to the same standard.

Exactly, a MKIV would be ideal. I can justify spending $50k on that. It's an icon in the Japanese car world. The price will only keep going up on them.

I have been long awaiting this..
