Toyota taking deposits for UK customers

Starting on Monday, Toyota has begun accepting 1,000 deposits for the Supra in the UK. Only 300 units will be available during 2019, so anyone with an interest in the MKV should secure an online reservation. The deposit is completely refundable and once all 300 places have been taken, new customers will be placed on a waiting list.

even with all those slots probably filled by now I'm sure if anyone here looks hard enough they can find someone selling an order slot, just expect to pay a premium

Hope that they plan on offering a lot more than 300 models for NA. If not we could be seeing a year plus wait for deliveries.

By now you guys should be used to waiting lol. I personally wont be placing an order until I get some seat time in it. I can't believe how many people are comfortable making such a large investment on something sight unseen.

it would be a great idea for anyone serious about getting the Supra to see how the Toyota 86 played out, upon release and put through its paces, folks were disappointed.
fortunately we're at a point where buying a used 86 as an affordable FR car to modify with a wealth of aftermarket mods is doable.
