The price should be 60K @ 450hp. Directly compete with C7.

maybe 35-40k @ 350hp.
Maybe not 500, but if they go at it with BMW and share the I6 the range is certainly attainable. The M4 with BMW's I6 TT makes 425 hp. BMW is talking about supercharging the 6 for their car, so i wonder if Toyota would use that super charged version or grab the I6 and do their own turbo work?

Looking at renderings of what it could look like, which seems to be just upsized from a Z4. I'd have to say that 300+ HP will do it good. 400 will be awesome

BMW already has turbos for their i6

but would be sweet if toyota just said i'll pass and turbocharged the engine themselves

i also do wonder if they are going to change anything about the engine.

That would be the better thing to do. Seeing the segment they sit in and the 2 brands involved, this is possible.

It's going to be here by 2017, got a while to go before they announce pricing.
It would make more sense if it underpin the Lexus RC.

Hope they don't price themselves out of the race

The FT-1 is gorgeous...BUT....have you seen the NSX concepts....no match. Even if the FT-1 is 25k LESS than the NSX Toyota will be wasting their time. I will gladly pay 60K for an FT-1....but not much more.

that it would to an extent, seems like the RC platform might take away from the supra being nimble, but it is something they can probably alter to what will work
